Caleb Williams won the battle of the No.1 overall picks in a blowout victory over Trevor Lawrence in London.
The Chicago Bears quarterback put on a show in a breakout performance at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, throwing for 226 yards and four touchdowns in a 36-16 win over Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Williams became the first Bears rookie QB to throw four touchdown passes since Cade McNown did so in 1999.
In his post-game press conference, 22-year-old Williams revealed the four secret ingredients to his record-breaking performance.
“Offensive line, coaching, leadership on team, mindset of progress and to keep going,” Williams told a room full of reporters, including talkSPORT.
“Us getting out there, and getting our momentum going, executing and believing in each other is what you credit it to.”
