Reconext announces 200 new jobs with Memphis expansion [Video]

It will be Reconext’s first location in Tennessee, and is expected to be fully functional by early 2025.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Texas-based Reconext, an aftermarket electronics company, is expanding to the Memphis area with a more than $9 million investment.

Company officials, Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, and the state Department of Economic and Community Development made the announcement Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024. It will be Reconext’s first location in Tennessee.

The company said the operations expansion in Memphis will bring more than 200 new jobs, including engineering, administrative, and production positions. The company will locate in southeast Memphis and expects to be fully operational in early 2025.

Reconext delivers supply chain solutions for customers, with a focus on reusing electronics as part of a ‘circular economy.’
