Roman Reigns made his highly anticipated return to WWE programming at SummerSlam 2024, his first appearance since losing the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40.

Despite earlier expectations of a part-time schedule, Reigns’ appearances have increased.

According to Fightful Select, Reigns was not listed on official rundowns but was always planned for recent shows, creating a bigger surprise when he appeared during the season premiere.

WWE intentionally stopped advertising him in advance to use Reigns as a surprise element, boosting excitement around his return.

Speaking of Roman, he’s going to have his first match since WrestleMania 40 at next month’s Bad Blood PLE.

Below is the updated match-card for this premium live event:

– Roman Reigns & Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu)

Hell In A Cell Match: CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre
