Rapid Citys community development rap sheet was released [Video]

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – The Community Development rap sheet was released July 5 detailing the status of construction sites and active projects in Rapid City.

The Department of Community Development says they are moving closer toward growing the community with the city’s comprehensive plan.

That plan is a roadmap outlining the community’s goals and visions for growth and development. The Plan kicked off this past spring & continues to progress through the summer and is set to be completed by the year 2050.

The 4-page long rap sheet consisted of commercial and residential projects as well as studies.

Some projects worth highlighting are the nearly completed construction of South Middle School, Fire Station 1 on Main Street and the construction of Creekside Heights Apartments with more than 180 units proposed.
