Rapid City Public Library brings literature to community with physical barriers [Video]

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – The Rapid City Public Library has thousands of books to read, makes spaces to create, and events available to anyone who stops in. But, they also have services available to those who can’t make it to the library.

The library has a bookmobile that brings the library to the community. You can sign up for a library card, check out books and other items, and even receive notary services. Another service offered by the library is home delivery.

The service is available to those with a physical barrier and who live within the Rapid City Area Schools district. Deliveries go out once a month and users can check out any number of books, board games, videos, DVDs, E-readers, and more. Those items are switched out when the next month’s delivery arrives.
