Rapid City community development & finance directors to run public works until new director hired [Video]

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Rapid City Public Works Director Dale Tech is moving on from his position November 8, and Community Development Director Vicki Fisher and Finance Director Daniel Ainslie will take over Tech’s responsibilities until the city hires a new public works director.

Mayor Jason Salamun says this won’t impact public works operations.

“Citizens can still expect to have a high-quality service from our public works team. This is purely interim leadership until we hire a new Public Works Director; we will post that position soon.”

Salamun praised Fisher and Ainslie for taking on additional responsibilities and the 332 public works employees for their work this year.
