One in five workers report a decline in wellbeing in the past year, with a quarter saying they are not supported by their employer, writes Sarah Slater.
While the health decline affects more women than men, younger workers are more likely to suggest improved wellbeing over the same length of time, according to a study by specialist employee benefits advisory firm Lockton People Solutions.
Around a quarter (27%) of Irish workers, stated that their wellbeing had improved over the last 12 months. Of the remainder, 53% reported no noticeable change and or 20% didn’t report a worsening in their overall wellbeing compared to last year.
The study surveyed 725 employees across the country to assess overall changes in their physical, mental, and financial wellbeing compared to last year.
