WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Designed as the cradle of astronauts, Purdue has 27 alumni who have traveled to space.
Chances are, when humankind makes its way to Mars, a Boilermaker will be in the lead.
On Thursday, Purdue will debut its short film “Boilers to Mars” about what it will take to go first.
The short film and panel event will be hosted in Fowler Hall at 7 p.m.
Vice President of Marketing for Purdue, Kelly Hiller, stopped by News 18 at noon to share more about the short film.
