Pueblo getting professional baseball team [Video]

PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) – A new professional baseball team is coming to Pueblo with the help of Pueblo Sports Management and Entertainment Group.

This organization is currently in charge of sports teams like the Pueblo Bulls Hockey Club and they run the Pueblo Ice Arena and Events Center.

Right now, Rawlings Field is home to the CSU Pueblo Thunderwolves baseball team, but in a couple years, people in Pueblo could see professionals at this facility as well.

With this project, Pueblo Sports Management and Entertainment Group is hoping to expand their organization and take advantage of what they call an immaculate sports complex.

Due to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), the management group is not allowed to say what league this new team will play in or what the team name will be just yet.
