Private Chinese Company Plans To Launch Private Spaceflights In 2027, Each Seat Costs 1.7 Cr [Video]

China’s private space company Deep Blue Aerospace is planning to launch paying customers to space in 2027. According to the company, each ticket will cost about $2,10,000 or approximately Rs 1.8 crore and it will sell the first two tickets today.

Explaining what the passengers are in for, Deep Blue said, “They will experience the vastness and mystery of the universe and witness the magnificent landscape beyond the Earth.”

“This will be an all-round, multi-sensory space journey that will be unforgettable for a lifetime,” it further said per Space.com which cited a translated official statement.

The company also unveiled the design of its rocket and spacecraft system which resembles SpaceX‘s Dragon spacecraft to some extent. Its rocket also appears similar to the Falcon 9 launch vehicles of SpaceX.

As for the flight profile, it will reportedly be similar to Jeff Bezos’s Blue Origin, which takes six passengers on a sub-orbital flight …
