A collection of Princess Kate’s high-profile appearances has won praise online as the royal continues her time out of the public eye while undergoing treatment for cancer.
Social-media fans have been outspoken in their support of the princess since she stepped back from royal duties in January to undergo abdominal surgery. She announced in March that she is receiving preventive chemotherapy treatment linked to a cancer diagnosis.
Kate has made two official appearances so far this year: the first in June to attend the Trooping the Colour celebrations in London; and the second to watch the Wimbledon tennis championship men’s final in July in the English capital. In June, the princess gave a personal health update, telling the public that, though continuing her treatment, she hoped now to be able to undertake work from home and begin more appearances over the summer.
