PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — After days of snow and icy conditions left many Prince George’s County residents stuck in their homes, Acting County Executive Tara Jackson and Department of Public Works Director Mike Johnson faced community concerns during a public meeting about the county’s snow removal efforts on Friday. Residents expressed frustration over impassable streets and what they perceived as a lack of effective planning.
“We had a major snow event on Monday, and we’re expecting more snow again this evening,” Jackson began. “Operations did not meet expectations. But we’re here, and we are going to get it right.”
