At the invitation of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Chinese President Xi Jinping paid a state visit to Tajikistan from July 4 to 6.
The visit marked the elevation of the two countries’ ties to a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership in the new era.
It was Xi’s third state visit to Tajikistan. During his first one in 2014, Rahmon also saw Xi off at the airport. “Good brothers walk hand in hand,” Rahmon told Xi.
