NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — President Joe Biden held a news conference Thursday night and answered tough questions from reporters about the future of his campaign.

Biden spoke of his NATO accomplishments during the summit as he faced growing calls to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race. According to the Associated Press, as of Thursday evening, a dozen house Democrats had called for him to exit the race.

Despite the growing calls to drop the race, Biden still defended his foreign and domestic policies along with his ability to serve another four years. The 81-year-old declared that not only would he stay in the race, but he would win.

Tonight’s press conference focused on a wide range of topics, including addressing questions about Vice President Kamala Harris and concerns from foreign allies.

“I’m not in this for my legacy,” Biden said. “I’m in this to complete the job I started.”
