Power outage impacts elementary school in North Omaha [Video]

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Parts of Omaha were impacted by a power outage Wednesday afternoon.

Omaha Public Power District was reporting an outage for more than 3,000 customers around 12:45 p.m. About half that many remained without power 45 minutes later. By 2:15 p.m., there were fewer than 50 affected.

Mount View Elementary School was impacted by the outage.

OPPD was advising customers on social media to report outages to them online, or use the OPPDConnect app. Outages can also be reported by calling 1-800-554-6773.
