A widespread power outage caused the University of Nebraska at Omaha to cancel all Wednesday classes and events on the Dodge Street campus.
UNO posted a statement on its website Wednesday morning regarding the outage and cancellation. Scott Campus buildings remained open and in-person classes and events on Scott Campus operated as normal, including Baxter Arena, the school said.
Campus shuttles were operating and the UNO Child Care Center remained open, but all other buildings on the Dodge Street campus were closed, according to the university.
Staff members were asked to communicate with supervisors for remote working options.
