More has come to light about the WWE Women’s United States Championship and who the promotion intends to be the inaugural champion.
The first-ever champion will be crowned at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, which will take place this weekend in Uniondale, New York.
Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda is reporting that Chelsea Green will win her semifinal match on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown to advance to SNME.
Green will then defeat the winner of the semifinal match between Michin vs. Tiffany Stratton at Saturday Night’s Main Event to become the first-ever champion.
The Canadian won her first-round match by defeating Blair Davenport and Bianca Belair. The EST left the match after seeing Jade Cargill had been attacked.
