Post Malone is just days away from dropping his sixth studio album, F-1 Trillion. The album features Malone, 29, taking on a country sound, and contains collaborations with some of the biggest names in country music — including Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, and the queen herself, Dolly Parton. While Malone has some friends in high places, he doesn’t consider himself on par with their level of fame.
Earlier this year, he collaborated with Beyoncé and Taylor Swift and their respective albums, Cowboy Carter and The Tortured Poets Department. In an interview with New York Times, Malone expressed gratitude for his career, the many accolades he’s earned, and the songs that have manifested from his collaborations. However, he revealed he feels that reaching the same caliber of fame as some of his collaborators would be daunting.
