Posey County joins several other counties in lifting a burn ban | News [Video]

POSEY COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — Due to a good amount of rain this week, officials in Posey County announced the lifting of an on-going burn ban.

Posey County now joins Union County, Henderson County, and Vanderburgh County in lifting the bans in recent days.

Leaders say, the rain has alleviated the dangerously dry conditions.

However, they are still urging residents to be mindful and to take precautions when burning materials and debris.
