Catherine Chavis has been missing for over a week.

PORTSMOUTH, Va. — The Portsmouth Police Department is looking for a missing woman.

Catherine Chavis, 74, was last heard from on Dec. 16 and possibly seen in the 900 block of County Street, according to a Portsmouth police press release.

Chavis has black and gray hair and brown eyes, is 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs 125 pounds.

Portsmouth police urge anyone with information on Chavis’ whereabouts to contact the Portsmouth Police Special Victims Unit at 757-393-8536.
