Portsmouth police make arrest in Dec. 11 homicide [Video]

PORTSMOUTH, Va. — The Portsmouth Police Department has made an arrest in a homicide that happened earlier this month.

Rashaad Sincere Wilson has been charged with aggravated murder, robbery (carjacking) and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in connection with the homicide of Anthony Lamont Jones, 32, according to a Portsmouth press release.

The call came in at 10:03 p.m. Dec. 11 at the intersection of Prentis Avenue and Race Street. Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.
