Portland looks to spend week with cloudy mornings, highs well below average starting Monday [Video]

After experiencing the hottest July on record last month, and stretch of days at 90+ to kick off August, this week may feel like a spotting Bigfoot in the wild. But Portland is expected to have an entire work week (and maybe longer) of partly cloudy days with highs in the 70s. It may even rain a little bit.

The National Weather Service says westerly onshore flow is expected to continue over the next seven days, bringing cooler daytime highs, increasing morning clouds, and chances of drizzle or light rain Monday and Tuesday, especially along the coast, coastal mountains, and in the northern part of the Oregon Cascades.

Portland will start Monday with cloudy skies that gradually clear to mostly sunny. The high will be about 75 degrees, which is about 10 degrees below average during mid August.
