Popular Jersey shore restaurant left with ‘extensive damage’ after fire [Video]

SEA ISLE CITY, N.J. – A popular Sea Isle City restaurant was heavily damaged in a fire Wednesday night that also impacted a neighboring business.

Firefighters were called to Casa Taco on 4210 Park Road around 5 p.m. for reports of a fire inside the building.

Officials say the building was evacuated when firefighters arrived and no injuries were reported.

With help from neighboring departments, firefighters were able to place the blaze under control within an hour.

Officials say Casa Taco was left with “extensive damage,” and neighboring Casino Pizza was also impacted by the fire.

Fire investigators are still working to determine how the fire started.
