AUSTRALIA (WJW) – Police in Australia have issued an arrest warrant for a man in connection to a baby’s attack.
A 9-month-old baby boy was with his family at Hanlon Park when an unknown man poured a “hot liquid” onto the child on August 27, according to a press release from the Queensland Police Department.

According to the release, the suspect left the scene and emergency crews were called.
The baby was taken to the hospital with serious burns after the attack. He has since been released from hospital, according to the release.
According to the release, the man believed to have been in the attack was identified by detectives from the Morningside Child Protection Investigation Unit.
