Worcester police are investigating after a dead turtle was hung outside the home of blogger Aiden “Turtleboy” Kearney’s parents home Monday morning, the police department confirmed to MassLive.
Kearney shared graphic photos of the dead turtle — which had been tied by its head to a metal bannister outside the home — on social media on Monday.
“This morning someone left a large murdered turtle hanging from a railing at my parents house. It had a hole through its head,” he wrote.
Worcester detectives are investigating it as an incident of harassment and animal cruelty, the police department said.
