Players In Cooperative Sector Advised To Work On Sustainability [Video]

Key players in cooperative societies in Nigeria have been tasked to come up with strategies to ensure sustainability of the sector in Nigeria.

President of the cooperative federation of Nigeria, Oriyomi Aiyeola made the call at the 8th edition of the National Cooperative summit in Lagos state with the theme ‘fostering cooperative businesses for future generations’.

He said it is important to harness the talents, innovation and fresh perspectives of young Nigerians to make the sector more relevant in the digital space.

National president of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture, Dele Oye who commended the role cooperative societies play in the sustenance of SMEs and MSMEs says NACCIMA is now set to cooperate with them.
