PLACER COUNTY, Calif. — The Placer County Board of Supervisors this week approved ‘The Ranch,’ a 221.7-acre housing development in the Dry Creek area of Placer County.
‘The Ranch’ will feature 446 single-family houses in a gated community, a park and open space with trails. It’s south of Vineyard Road and east of Cook Riolo Road. Family housing lots will range from 6,014 square feet to 25,000 square feet.
The development will also feature 45 accessory dwelling units (ADU), each about 750 square feet, to meet affordable housing requirements.
Two entrances off Vineyard Road will provide access, one of which includes a drop-off area for Creekview Ranch Schoolstudents.
