Piatt County EMA unveils new mobile command center [Video]

MONTICELLO, Ill. (WCIA) — The Piatt County Emergency Management Agency has a new vehicle to use in emergency responses.

It’s a Mobile Command Center — a van that officials said will enhance their ability to respond swiftly and effectively in the event of an emergency. It is equipped with advanced communication systems, real-time monitoring, high-speed internet and integrated video conferencing.

“Whether it’s natural disasters, public safety incidents, emergencies, or community events, our new Mobile Command Center will ensure that our teams stay connected and informed, enabling better coordination and decision-making on the ground,” officials said on Facebook.
