PHSS president and CEO named to Order of Ontario [Video]

A local president and CEO has been named to the Order of Ontario for 2025.

Edith Dumont, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario and Chancellor of the Order of Ontario named PHSS Medical and Complex Care in Community Support Services President and CEO Brian Dunne to the list.

Dunne is among 29 others that have made contributions, working towards a stronger Ontario.

“It was humbling, and surprising, and emotional,” said Dunne. “ [This is] an organization that grew from families that had a hope and a dream that their sons and daughters could be part of community. People who, for many years were sent off into institution, not to be seen.”
