A groundbreaking celebration for the Woodland Grove Care Centre took place yesterday [Sept 26], marking a key milestone in the development of the new facility.
A spokesperson said, “Members of the community, including donors and contractors, came together to celebrate the groundbreaking of the new Woodland Grove Care Centre last night.
“Friends of Hospice recently broke ground at the site on Spice Hill Road, marking the first step in the multi-year construction project for Bermuda’s first purpose-built hospice palliative care and senior living centre. The new Care Centre is expected to provide the community with more efficient, compassionate and holistic care services when it opens.
