Special Olympics Bermuda held their Invitational Games at the Flora Duffy Stadium, in collaboration with the annual Department of Education Adaptive PE Sports Day. The event commenced with a traditional Special Olympics Pre-Game ceremony, law enforcement honour guard, and athlete parade.

Participants included athletes from the Bermuda Public School Service, Special Olympics Bermuda, disability organisations and the community, and some of the track event served as qualifiers for the Special Olympics Celebration at the USATF Bermuda Grand Prix at the Flora Duffy Stadium on April 28.
