TEMPLE HILLS, Md. — New teachers at Prince George’s County Public Schools have a unique opportunity to build classroom libraries at an event in Temple Hills on Monday. The stuff-a-trunk event allows first- and second-year teachers to select up to 200 free books for their classrooms.
The event is the second part of a two-part event series put on in collaboration with Scholastic Books. Monday’s event is meant for teachers at schools north of Rt. 214. The event runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Green Valley Administrative Offices Auditorium, which is located at 2215 Chadwick Street. Registration is required and can be found here.
