PETE WILKINS has spoken to URC head of referees Tappe Henning after Mack Hansen’s post-match comments against Leinster.
The Ireland winger sparked controversy when he claimed Connacht ‘never get any calls’ after their loss at the Aviva Stadium.
But Wilkins has defended his star and revealed he spoke to Henning after the incident.
Wilkins said: “I spoke to Tappe Henning after the media conference. I let him know that the press conference took place.
“I contacted him to make sure we were talking as I knew there would be a reaction.”
Wilkins then added: “Mack wasn’t saying Chris Busby is a poor referee or the TMO doesn’t know what he’s doing.
“He’s saying this is what it feels like to us.
“And, you know, we can’t really question how he felt …
