Person in custody after damage done to City Hall [Video]

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — One person is in custody after police said they damaged City Hall in downtown Buffalo on Sunday night.

Police said the damage was done just after 6:30 p.m. Sunday to City Hall and another building on the 200 block of Delaware Avenue. The male suspect allegedly damaged multiple exterior doors and windows. Several doors were boarded up on Monday morning.

City officials also said police are investigating “reports of threats,” but did not provide any other details.

The alleged incident at City Hall is still under investigation.
