Peoria man charged after reportedly sending inappropriate texts messages to minor [Video]

PEORIA (25News Now) – A Peoria man has been released pending the outcome of his court case as he faces a charge of grooming.

Carlos Rivas, 40, was arrested after allegedly sending inappropriate text messages to an underage girl.

He was charged with grooming, a class 4 felony.

He is scheduled to be arraigned at 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 6.
