Peoples City Mission, Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach providing free Thanksgiving meals [Video]

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach and People’s City Mission will be serving free meals to the community this Thanksgiving day.

Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach will serve a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The meal will be prepared by a family that has volunteered to prepare a home-cooked Thanksgiving feast for Matt Talbot guests for over 25 years.

People’s City Mission will also serve a free full Thanksgiving meal to anyone who is experiencing homelessness or will be spending the holiday alone.

Doors open at 11 a.m., with the meal starting at 11:30 a.m. and will go until 1:30 p.m. PCM expects to serve around 700 meals during the event.
