People can share their favorite memories in Baseballtown to celebrate 75 years of events at FirstEnergy Stadium | Reading-area [Video]

READING, Pa. – “Throughout all the changes, the character of the ballpark has kind of remained the same,” said Jake Starr, Fightin Phils Public Relations Manager.

69 News took a trip down memory lane and walked the same halls as some of the Reading Fightin Phils’ most notable players.

“Every player, from Greg Luzinski to Mike Schmidt, to Ryan Howard, to Jimmy Rollins, like was in that clubhouse and walked like along that path to get out from the field,” said Starr.

Next season marks 75 years of baseball games, football games, funerals, fundraisers and more at FirstEnergy Stadium.

“The story has been told over the 75 years, but it’s how can we kind of do it again and do it the best that we can?” said Starr.
