PENDER COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – The Pender Education Partnership (PEP) is calling on the community to help get educational projects off the ground.
The nonprofit organization’s goal is to fund 40 mini-grants for teachers across the district who have proposed projects to enhance learning and enrich the classroom experience for students.
PEP is asking for donations to meet the demand for teacher-driven projects to support student engagement and achievement.
“The support of our community is essential to making these programs possible,” said Tammie Parris, president of Pender Education Partnership.
Donations can be made to Pender Education Partnership through its website here.
