PENDER COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – Pender County Sheriff’s office has identified the victim in the Oct. 29 homicide case in Maple Hill.
In a press release, deputies responding to a 911 call found Renteria Keith Moore and two others shot in the 1100 block of Maple Hill School Road in the Maple Hill area of Pender County.
Moore died due to injuries. The other two victims were released from the hospital.
Deputies arrested 67-year-old Jesse Conroy Watkins and was charged with one count of murder, two counts of assault with deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, two counts of Assault with a deadly weapon and Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Watkins will have a first appearance today in Pender County.
