CALIFORNIA, USA — More than two weeks after a ransomware attack left Patelco Credit Union members unable to access many services, the credit union now says things will be back to normal very soon.
Patelco says by Monday, members will be able to access online banking and the Patelco mobile banking app, something that’s been down since June 28.
“We have restored most functionality and the services most used by our members,” said CEO Erin Mendez in a statement. “We recognize that there is still progress to be made and while this may not look perfect, we are grateful to be able to support you with your banking needs again.”
They warn members that longer wait times should be expected both at branch locations and call centers.
