CORNING, Calif. – The Paskenta Nomlaki Foundation has made donations totaling $25,000 to four Tehama County organizations this holiday season. The chosen charities support children and seniors in Tehama County.
The foundation presented the Northern California Child Development CHIPS 4 kids program, the Corning Fire Department Toy Haul program, and Red Bluff Toys for Tots each with a check for $5,000. These organizations help provide gifts for less fortunate children in the area. Also, a donation of $10,000 was made to Christmas Joy Arrangements who, in partnership with the Red Bluff – Tehama County Chamber of Commerce and Tehama Floral Co. gave out 550 floral arrangements to elderly residents at health and senior care facilities in Corning.
