Party with penguins at Mississippi Aquarium [Video]

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Pumpkin the African penguin stopped by Studio 10 to help celebrate all things penguin at Mississippi Aquarium.

On Monday, April 29, Mississippi Aquarium will host Pars for Penguins. The golf tournament will take place at Windance Golf & Country Club and will tee off at 9 a.m. Proceeds from the fundraising event benefits a new penguin habitat at the aquarium.

In addition to the tournament, Mississippi Aquarium is hosting a ‘Penguin House Party’ on Friday, May 3 from 6 – 10 p.m.

The 21 and older event will include a sampling of coastal cuisine from downtown eateries, beer, wine, and live music by New Orleans party band, Sugar Shaker. Attendees are asked to wear their best coast casual black and white attire to support the 11 African penguins at the aquarium.
