ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. — A Central Pennsylvania golf pro has earned one of his profession’s most prestigious awards.
Parks Price, the club professional at Hanover Country Club, was named the PGA Golf Professional of the Year by the Professional Golfers Association of America’s Central Counties Chapter.
Price was selected by his peers based on years of experience and stellar tournament play, Hanover Country Club said in a press release. Price, who recently completed his first season as head pro at Hanover Country Club, carried a 72.18 scoring average in 11 tournaments and posted four Top 10 finishes on the main Philadelphia tournament schedule.
