Parents, educators, health experts, lawmakers, others discuss cell phone use at NC schools [Video]

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Parents, educators, public health experts, policy makers, and many others joined together at The Friday Institute for Educational Innovation on Thursday to discuss cell phone use in schools.

Krista Glazewski, the Executive Director of the Friday Institute, said they hosted the conversation on North Carolina State University’s campus to bring different perspectives together and help provide guidance. “We’re continuing to ask the question of what are we seeing and what does the research say, but also what do people experience on the ground, in schools, in homes, and in communities?” Glazewski said.
