Parent claims 11-month-old fractured his skull at N.J. daycare center, lawsuit says [Video]

A young child fell at a South Jersey daycare center in back-to-back days last year, causing him to fracture his skull and potentially face lifelong injuries, according to a lawsuit filed in New Jersey Superior Court last week.

Personal injury lawyer Mary LeMieux-Fillery filed a lawsuit in Cumberland County on July 24 against the Millville Day Care, alleging the facility acted negligently while caring for the son of her client, Jasmine Williams. He was 11-months-old at the time her was injured, LeMieux-Fillery told NJ Advance Media.

The Millville woman alleges the fracture was discovered two days after the second fall while consulting a pediatrician, prompting doctors to perform X-rays and a CAT scan, according to the complaint.
