PAN Foundation Survey Reveals High Interest in Clinical Trials Among Underrepresented Communities, Yet Few Are Asked to Participate | PR Newswire [Video]

, /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — The PAN Foundation, in collaboration with The Harris Poll, has revealed new data highlighting the significant interest and positive attitudes toward clinical trials among people of color and LGBTQ+ individuals, despite historically low participation rates. The survey found that 83% of people of color and 86% of LGBTQIA+ respondents view clinical trials somewhat or extremely positively. Furthermore, 61% of all respondents expressed interest in joining a clinical trial in the future. Yet, the primary reason many have not participated is that they were simply never invited.
