DENVER (KDVR) — After significant snowfall in Denver weather throughout the week, thousands of Coloradans are without power Saturday.
Xcel Energy said in a press release Saturday that it has crews working to restore power outages caused by the snow.

As of 11:20 a.m. Saturday, according to the Xcel Energy outage map, 18,352 customers were without power across the state.
As of 9:20 p.m., that number is down to 3,257. A vast majority of the outages are concentrated in the Denver metro area.
Xcel said the restoration efforts will take time as the storm caused a high amount of outages impacting individual properties or small groups of customers. As of 9:20 p.m., Xcel reports 261 outage orders across the state.
