The Battle of Plattsburgh commemoration is set to welcome visitors from all over to North Country, eager to honor the significant role the region played in the United States’ victory over Great Britain during the War of 1812. Now, in its 26th year, organizers are planning an especially memorable event.The commemoration will feature traditional events like the honoring of the Battles of Crab Island and Culver Hill and the much-anticipated parade in downtown Plattsburgh.
