Opening Day for the 157th session of the North Carolina General Assembly [Video]

Today was opening day in Raleigh for the 157th session of the General Assembly.There are 23 newly elected members of the North Carolina House of Representatives and two of them are from Guilford County. It was an exciting day at the legislature. Newly elected lawmakers were accompanied by family and friends to witness their first swearing-in ceremony. Rep. Tracy Clark from Guilford County brought her husband and two daughters to celebrate the big day.Clark says, “There’s a lot of energy, a lot of family and friends here and supporters to kick off a great legislative session ahead.”Rep.
