OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – OneWorld Community Health Centers in Omaha provide a variety of clinical services including medical, dental, and prenatal.
“We provide services for those that can‘t afford it or don’t have health insurance,” Erik Servellon, OneWorld Communications Director said.
OneWorld currently provides services to more than 50,000 people in the metro and Plattsmouth. Erik Servellon with the organization said they’re seeing more patients and they need to grow to handle that increase.
“I think that’s something that our community leaders and policy decision makers are looking at what are the collaborations and the policy to address the future now,” Servellon said.
One way they’re addressing the future needs is by building a new center at their live stock exchange campus. It will provide behavioral health care, child care, and work force training. Servellon also expects the project to create 100 jobs.
